Preadmit – Go Live Checklist

Before we set your Preadmit account live and link it to your patient administration system (PAS), we have created a short check list of things to check to ensure everything is in order.

1. Set a link on your website to your patient portal

This way staff nor patients have to remember an extra website, they do however know your website. We recommend to have an ” Online Preadmission Form” button on your home page, on the top somewhere, so it is easy for your patients to find.

This should be a quick and easy thing for your web designer to arrange. Just ask them to add the button and when the patient clicks on the button, direct the patient to your patient portal, so give your patient portal URL to your web designer.

2. Set all necessary questions to “Mandatory”

To ensure your patients don’t skip any questions you need them to answer, review all your questions and ensure the necessary questions are set to mandatory, rather than optional. You don’t have to edit each and every question, use our bulk update feature, click here to read more.

3. Review your ‘Thank You’ page

We want to ensure that once the patient has submitted their form, they have some important information about their upcoming admission. Check that you have set the following:

        – The Closing Message

        – Phone Number

        – Address

4. Double check the final admission form

We recommend you complete the admission form a few times, with different answers each time and ensure that the information you entered online correctly matches what is printed on the final admission form. For example, if you selected Yes, to diabetes and then selected Type 2, does this correctly show on your admission form?

5. Set your Email Notifications

Preadmit will send you an email once a patient submits a form, so you want to ensure Preadmit has your correct email, and you can also CC someone else at the facility.  Click here to know how to update.

6. Top up your account with some credits

So that patients can submit their admission forms online, you will need to have credits. While you have been testing Preadmit, you have not needed to buy any credits, we have been allocating you some complimentary credits, but before you go live, you will need to order some. Click here if you want to know how to order credits.

7. Setup credit alerts

We don’t want you to run out of credits, so you can set up Preadmit to notify you when you run low on credits. Preadmit can email you when you reach a specified amount of credits. Click here to find out how to set your alerts.
